In 2004, she <strong>received awards<\/strong> for her clinical study. for her clinical research regarding \u00abThermogenesis, Obesity, and the Metabolic Pathways of Macronutrients: Association with Obesity\u201d and it was published in the Journal of the British Dietetic Association. <\/p>\n\n<p>She received her <strong>Master of Science<\/strong> in <strong>Clinical Nutrition and Immunology<\/strong> from the University of Surrey in Surrey, England, with a focus on nutritional support and intervention for patients with immune system illnesses.<\/p>\n\n<p>As a Clinical Dietitian at Newcastle upon Tyne and North Tees University Hospitals (NHS) in England, she applied her scientific training and was <strong>promoted<\/strong> to <strong>Head<\/strong> of the diabetes and endocrinology centre.<\/p>\n\n<p>Returning to Greece, she retrained at two universities in Whole plant-based nutrition: <strong>the Ecornell and T.Campbell Center of Nutrition Studies (U.S) and Winchester University. She is a scientific collaborator for Plant-based health professionals (U.K.) and a guest lecturer at Winchester University (U.K.) as of 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>She is a co-author of the scientific version of the book<\/strong> plant-based nutrition in clinical praxis (Hammersmith, United Kingdom), to which she provides a chapter titled \u00abAutoimmunity, chronic inflammation, and phytophagy\u00bb.
