In 1993 I graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I obtained my specialization in Pathological Anatomy in 2000, after training in four hospitals in Athens as well as at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I completed master\u2019s degree after attending during 2019-2021 the postgraduate program \u2018GLOBAL HEALTH \u2013 HEALTH CRISIS MANAGEMENT\u2019 and wrote my thesis titled \u2018Western dietary model and environmental impacts\u2019. My doctoral dissertation on \u2018The clinical significance of HuR protein expression in non-small cell lung carcinoma\u2019 was conducted at the A\u2019 Laboratory of Pathological Anatomy at the Medical School of Athens. Since 2004, I have been working as a Pathological Anatomist at the Laiko General Hospital of Athens and I hold the position of director the NHS at the A\u2019 Laboratory of Pathological Anatomy of EKPA, Medical School of Athens. I participate in the training of resident pathologists at the A\u2019 Laboratory of Pathological Anatomy, while delivering lectures to undergraduate students in their 5<sup>th<\/sup> semester, as well as to the postgraduate students of the Master\u2019s program \u2018Neoplastic Disease in Humans\u2019 at EKPA. I have contributed to the writing of 52 foreign-language original publications in PubMed and have served as a supervisor for the completion of four master\u2019s theses.
