I was born in Athens. I graduated from the 7th High School of Athens. I studied Medicine at the University of Genoa, from where I received my degree with excellence. I worked as a University Researcher until 1983, at the Institute of Pathology R of the University of Genoa. I returned to Greece and served my military service in the Land Army. I served as a Rural Doctor in Messinian Mani. After completing my Pathology Specialization, I worked initially as a scientific associate and then as a curator at the Oncology Hospital ‘Agioi Anargyroi’ until 2002. During my service at the hospital, I was a member of the Scientific Committee, President of the Research, Ethics and Ethics Committee and responsible for Education. In 1998, immediately after the establishment of the Specialty of Pathological Oncology, I was awarded the title of Pathologist-Oncologist. I was the responsible Consultant Oncologist of the Oncology Council of Sismanoglio and the Urology Clinic of the National University of Athens. In 2000, I was awarded the title of Doctor of the National University of Athens. In 2002, I received the position of Curator A at the Cancer Hospital ‘Agios Savvas’. In 2008, I was promoted to the rank of Director and served as Director of the 2nd Oncology Department. Founder and Head of the Genetic Counseling Clinic of the Hospital. In 2005, I submitted my resignation and followed the private sector. Director of Studies of the Hellenic Academy of Oncology (2014-2015). Peer Reviewer of papers for publication in international scientific journals (Wolter Kluwer). Participation in international clinical studies with a significant number of publications in international and Greek scientific journals. Participation in the writing of scientific books. Participation in Medical conferences with lectures (>500) and oral presentations. I have organized 12 Panhellenic Conferences. Member of ASCO, ESMO, EOPE, Board of Directors of the Anticancer Society, etc.
