Clinical Dietician – Nutritionist specialized in Autoimmunity

She completed her studies at the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition at London Metropolitan University in England, UK. In 2004, she received awards for her clinical study. for her clinical research regarding «Thermogenesis, Obesity, and the Metabolic Pathways of Macronutrients: Association with Obesity” and it was published in the Journal of the British Dietetic Association.

She received her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Immunology from the University of Surrey in Surrey, England, with a focus on nutritional support and intervention for patients with immune system illnesses.

As a Clinical Dietitian at Newcastle upon Tyne and North Tees University Hospitals (NHS) in England, she applied her scientific training and was promoted to Head of the diabetes and endocrinology centre.

Returning to Greece, she retrained at two universities in Whole plant-based nutrition: the Ecornell and T.Campbell Center of Nutrition Studies (U.S) and Winchester University. She is a scientific collaborator for Plant-based health professionals (U.K.) and a guest lecturer at Winchester University (U.K.) as of 2019.

She is a co-author of the scientific version of the book plant-based nutrition in clinical praxis (Hammersmith, United Kingdom), to which she provides a chapter titled «Autoimmunity, chronic inflammation, and phytophagy». Finally, she has given scientific lectures in Greece and England, and she has been a keynote speaker at conferences on autoimmune disease and the gut microbiome held by the NHS (United Kingdom) and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
